Good Romantic Suspence

Rebecca Zanetti is conquering the romantic suspense genre with her Sin Brothers series and I am absolutely loving it. Genetically engineered soldiers, boot camps from birth, the most sinister of conspiracies, and a self destruct chip that can end it all. And lets not forget the passion and romance that lights the pages on fire!

Matt Dean is racing the clock to save not only himself, but his brothers as well, from a chip that was implanted in each of them and set to go off in a matter of weeks. Hot on the trail of the doctor behind the hideous surgery, Matt finds himself in a small, quint town in Idaho named Charmed, working for bar owner, Laney Jacobs. Each with secrets of their own, neither Matt or Laney have time for the attraction that is smoldering between them. When Laney's life is threatened though, Matt can't help but become even more involved with her, and the passion that they fight quickly becomes a loosing battle. As their pasts collide the danger that surrounds Matt and Laney escalates, can Matt protect everyone he loves before his time runs out?

Being the eldest of the Gray brothers, Matt has always felt that it was his job to protect his three younger brothers and he will do anything to see them safe. Failing at protecting his youngest brother though, Matt is wracked with guilt and even more determined to save his remaining two brothers from those that are hunting them. Matt is a character with a lot of heart but he's also a total alpha male when it comes down to it. He had so many little nuances to his character I fell more in love with him with each page. And I adored him and Laney together. Their banter, their fervor and passion, it ignited the pages. Laney was an enjoyable heroine as well, loyal and courageous. Not just a sizzling romance though, Sweet Revenged had a fast paced plot that kept me on the edge of my seat with several twists that left me spinning.

I would recommend listening to, Forgotten Sins, the first book in this series before starting on Sweet Revenge as 1. It was a fantastic story and 2. You learn the history of the Gray brothers. The continuing story arc has me itching for more and I would definitely recommend the Sin Brothers series to romantic suspense and military romance fans everywhere!

I absolutely loved this plot line. The romance progressed at a pretty good pace. There were a few plot holes and repeated phrases that were disappointing but over all, love love loved this book

That the brothers stuck together despite all of the odds against them. The author interwove each of their lives into each story while telling the story of the main hero.

Good, could be better.

This is a good story/action and romance. The POV of the characters kinda repeat themselves. The narrator has the same tone and puts me to sleep so I am having a hard time staying interested in the series because of this. If the story would speed up a bit and had a different narrator I would have given it a 5 star.

This series is amazing. Holy hotness lol. the only complaint I have is that there really should be a male narrator for hero POV in these books, though the narrator they do have does a good job it could have been even better.

I was soooo excited when I saw this book on Audible. I loved the introduction to the Sins Brothers through the first book which was Shane and Josie’s story so I was chomping at the bit to see what would happen next with Matt’s story. I thought I adored Shane, but I think I’m going to have to revise that opinion and just say that all these brothers are a lethal, honorable and Supper Hot class act... And in case you were wondering, these really do need to be read in order because there is a central plot line running through this series even if the main characters change up. These are those delicious twisty-bendy Romantic Suspense type books with Hot and Sexy love Scenes so fair warning you might not want to continue if you don’t want some spoilage for book one.

This story opens with Matt and Nate back in the field. Nate is still hunting down clues to finding Jory and Matt is following the trail to the doctor who worked in the lab that inserted those kill chips in their backs that are set to detonate in six weeks if they don’t get them removed. Shane has worked through the possibilities in the small town he’s trailed her to and narrows it down to a possibility of three women who are all blond and all in some sort of medical role. He entered town on his bike wounded from the last encounter with their pursuers and looking for a place to hole up in the middle of a rain storm...

Laney knows she shouldn't soften her heart toward the wounded man seeking shelter and a job, but he’s a lonely ex-marine and needs help. Matt Dean scares her with the lethal vibes he gives off, but he also attracts her. It’s the attraction that wins the day. She tries the bossy tough gal routine with him, but at the end of the day she still needs his brand of help since the bouncer/assistant bartender for her bar quit just before the biker rally.... Laney has secrets and she has finally found a town where she could stay for a while and put down a few roots, but she has to be so careful. She’s well aware that Matt is a drifter and he only promised the temporary, but now with a mysterious stalker after her who may have already committed murder, it’s nice to have someone taking care of her.

Matt knows full well that he shouldn't get involved with the vivacious sassy little bar owner because he has a job to do and he is all wrong for any woman, but he can’t help being drawn in by Laney. She’s exactly the sort of woman he finds appealing and she makes him want things that he can never have. As he checks the suspects for the doctor off his list narrowing them down one by one, he finds himself prime suspect for the local murder and he still has to keep Laney safe. Meanwhile, he knows the clock is ticking on he and his brothers’ lives..

I Can't wait for the third book, BLIND FAITH, and will be buying it as soon as Audible release it... :)

Sweet Revenge

Matt and Lani sizzle on the pages while navigating, danger, serial killers and old Winnie’s. The plot keeps you listening and the narration adds and extra layer of goodness. Love the Grey Brothers!

What can I say, other than I would be surprised if you don't love them too. They have action, hot sex, romance, strong women and hunky hot male leads. What more do you want? I was on the edge of my seat with from the action/drama and had to practically take a cold shower after the sex scenes. This author has shot to my top 10. I highly recommend this series. Great stories. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Narrator: Karen White does a fine job with these books. She's definitely an asset to the stories. Although, I think they would have benefited by having a male/female team instead.
