A shifter story with a twist!
What does Meghan Kelly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Ms. Kelly has a great voice for the New Adult genre of books. She can really bring you into the story. With her pacing, sense of emotions and her ability to give each character their own voice her narration of this book kept me coming back for more. I will continue to look for Ms. Kelly's work.

Sold to the Bears is another book in the Sold Series. (Sold to the Dragons being another.)
Set in the near future after the Big Freeze, Sold to the Bears is the story of Lila. Lila is a young woman whose birth parents were killed by some Bear Shifters. Before you could be harmed, a Wolf Shifter couple adopted her and she came to live with them. As a young adult, she looses her second set of parents in an accident. She is led to believe that the Bear Shifters are to blame.
In this new future fertility is at an all time low and women are in high demand. After the death of adoptive parents Lila is sold by the Alpha Wolf Shifter to the Bears. At first Lila is against this but after getting to know them she finds that they are actually good people.
Grant the leader of the Bear Shifters and his brother Adrian are both vying for Lila's favor. When first brought to the Bears, Lila was told she had to choose one to be her mate. Who will she choose?
I like this series of books. You do have to really stretch your imagination in the sense that we have people in these books that are shifting into Bears, Wolves and even Dragons. I find that while the shifter part of the story can be a little far fetched, the actually story between Lila, Grant and Andrian is solid. As there are explicit love scenes so I would recommend it as an 18+ book.
I look forward to seeing what Ms. Rain has up her sleeve for the next book!

Sold to the Bears
This book was really good. It was a suspenseful and sexy listen. The wolves Lila grew up with sold her to two gorgeous, hot bears and she is looking forward to it. Meghan Kelly did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I mean REALLY???
Is there anything you would change about this book?
Um...yes..A LOT!! this story was contrived at best....the only thing that saved it was Meghan's narration...this story is repetitive...and I'm sorry...but its stupid!

Ok..where to start....this story makes women look like property first of all...and I can be ok with that if done right...but this was dumb! I do agree Lila got the better end of the bargain...but this story is repetitive...not very well written and boring at times...took me over 2 days to finish this short listen because I was like Really? If you want a brainless listen that has some sexy time in it...this will do it for you....but I do not recommend this book..but highly do recommend this narrator...3rd listen of hers and I like Meghan very much!

Exciting, dangerous and oh so sexy...
Suspenseful & erotic too... An exciting erotic story of how a young girl was raised by a wolf clan (shifters) due to her parent getting killed by bears (also shifters). When she grew up these same wolves sold her to the bears. Lila has finally found a real home and love. Being faced with danger, there is a risk she could lose it all and even her own life.
Read along with the narrator, Meghan Kelly as she entertains us with her multiple voices and accents. I really enjoy the soothing voice too! Amira Rain did a great job writing this book. The plot is exciting. Plenty of suspense and action and even danger. Lots of erotic fun too! I am really looking forward to book 3!

This is a great book; this is the first book in the A BBW Paranormal Romance series by Amira Rain. Lila is a curvy woman living in the dystopian future where fertile women are sold to the highest bidder. When Lila finds out that she is being sold to Adrian and Grant who are bear shifter she is thrilled, because now she can get her revenge.
The narrator Meghan Kelly did a great job with this book, and was very easy to listen to. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to in one sitting and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end.
If you are looking for a book with a great story, and characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

Love bear shifter Stories
The story line was good, but could have been great.
There was so much repetition thought the whole story, I almost gave up listening by chapter 9. The only reason I kept going was the characters were great, and the narrator did a good job with th e different voices. I really don't know if I can continue with series. The other big complaint I have, and it is not just with this author, is there at the last chapter and half you got angst, some great news for the main characters and a little epilogue...... then the end. There was also way too much inner dialogue with the main female character. It's just too bad you have to put filler words to make the story longer,when it really decreases the love of the book as a whole.

Great audio book
Loved this audio book! This is the 2nd book I’ve listened to by this author and narrator and love both! The story is awesome and the narrator does a great job of bringing it to life!

PREDICTABLE, BUT STILL VERY HOT!!!
This story while good on it's own merits, echoes subtleties from the first story in this series, "Sold To The Dragons." But, I suppose that is to be expected. Having said that, I do like the storyline, though I was able to predict the ending. Also, there were plenty of steamy, erotic scenes in this audiobook, and they are hot! The narrator makes a good job of that, as well as the story itself.
I do recommend buying or using a credit to obtain this audiobook.

love it
AMAZING story from Amira Rain!! I absolutely love these stories!! I've ALWAYS liked the Idea of 2 mates for One! Amira does not disappoint in the battle of wills between these character's! They All give as good ad they get!! The Chemistry is off the charts hot as soon ad they set eyes on each other!! Meghan is such a wonderful narrator!! I've listened to a few of her books now, and have loved EVERY ONE of them!! She just had that voice!!
