About this listen

Two stubborn alpha men meet the one boy who wants them both....

Denali knows what he wants. He loves his job in the residence of the White House, but what he craves is serving. A Dom. Or in his case: two.

When tragedy strikes once again, Denali offers himself to Milan, the president’s brother in law. Milan accepts, but he insists Secret Service agent Asher joins them as well. Denali is more than fine with that. Two hot, dominant men is even better than one, right?

One encounter leads to more. Asher warns Denali that he can’t fall for Milan, that the tough, closed-off Dom will break his heart. He’s learned that the hard way himself. But Denali knows no other way than to give himself completely, and he’s willing to deal with the consequences.

When Milan and Asher prove to be too stubborn to see the truth, it’s Denali who shows them that love is worth taking a risk for. But will it be enough to bring them together? And how will everyone heal and move on after the most devastating blow yet?

Serve is an MMM gay romance with an age gap, featuring a Dom, a switch, and a super sweet boy. It’s the fourth book in the White House Men series, a continuing MM romantic suspense series set in the White House that needs to be heard in order. Serve ends with a happily-ever-after, but the suspense plot ends on a cliff-hanger and will be continued in the rest of the series.

A Trifecta of Hotness🔥Awesome Story & Narration🎧

Nora Phoenix turns up the heat in this fourth novel of her White House Men Series with not one but two smoking how alpha dominants and one sweet boy who wants to serve and submit to them. I am loving this series, the ongoing storyline and investigation of the two bombings, their connection as well as the continuous threats are intriguing. I am loving the complexity of it all and how masterfully it is all playing out as the plot thickens and players are being revealed. The threats continue and the fallout hits close to home in this book and it is absolutely heartbreaking and something I did not see coming. Nora Phoenix finds the perfect balance of drama, both personal and political, mystery, thrilling suspense and romance in this series, she adds a little kink into this story while creating the a trifecta of hotness with a Dom, a Dom who is also a Switch and a Sub, that would be Milan Bradbury, Asher Wylie and Denali Weiss. Milan and Asher have history and have enjoyed each other’s body’s in the past, their non-relationship relationship is complicated but Denali shows them what neither one could see, that they harbor feelings for each other. I adored these three, their personalities are so different from each other yet they work. I loved the journey of their relationship and where it lead them, to a beautiful trifecta of hotness!! I would give this book and series 10 stars if I could, five does not seem like enough praise. Nora Phoenix thank you for another awesome story and emotional rollercoaster ride, I am looking forward to what happens next in this mesmerizing and entertaining series.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, John Solo is a versatile voicer performer and an entertaining storyteller. I love how he takes each role and makes it his own, sounding believable and just as I picture the characters to sound. He is a natural with the pacing and handles the dialogue with ease, switching roles back and forth with ease and never misses a beat. You could hear how much heart he puts into his work as he captures the character emotions as well as their passion which he projects into his performance. Thank you for another awesome listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your work.

Reassess

I continue to enjoy this series with the ongoing background story with the each new couple. I love the relationship development between these men. I also love how we get to see that a younger sub can sometimes be the strongest and most insightful of the bunch. I also appreciate the way other characters continue to develop in this series. Nora Phoenix has a way of really intertwining an ongoing saga spanning time with the intimate and personal reflections of the characters and their developing relationships.
I listened to the audio version and it was well done and you could feel the building suspense.

enjoyed the story - solid 3.5 stars

📖 Story comment: Good pace and diverse characters. The series overarching story is progressing nicely and keeping me interested.

I really liked Asher's character, Denali's character felt a little "off" - he'd come across as too ... insecure / naïve / young (i'm not really sure) for someone chosen to be be working at the White House, and then like a switch being flipped, he'd have a backbone - the inexperience worked as part of the D/S relationship - but not for the White House. And I wasn't much of a fan of Milan - I prefer my Dom's less "d!ck!sh".
Their story was generally good and the development of the relationship was well written, I enjoyed the last third of the story the best.

🎧 Narrator comment: I generally enjoy John Solo's narration but I'm not convinced this is one of his better performances. Milan's character felt a little inconsistent and I didn't connect with Denali's character at all. On a positive note, each character had their own voice and it was easy to tell them apart, he has good timing, inflections and intonations, and there is good consistency with characters from the earlier books.

John Solo made this story come to life

While this was a pretty good story it was John Solo's narration that blew me away. In my listening experience, I have noticed that some narrators don't differentiate the stronger emotions that they are trying to portray. Passionate anger often comes across the same as passionate love. In this story, I felt everything as it was meant to be felt. Whether it was a cry of passion or a voice raised in anger. A sigh of frustration or a whisper of sorrow. John Solo made me feel each one exactly as intended.
