About this listen

Just when I thought we've won, that we get our happily ever after, the universe has other plans.

Tragedy has hit our little family, but we won't let it break us.

We will lean on each other and push forward.

I have them back now, the 4 who owned my heart and soul from the start.

And along side my newest addition to my heart, I'm excited to take this new step in our lives.

But it's never easy when it comes to my life. There's people who want to see me fail, to take what's mine.

They can try, but they will fail.

Silver Valley University is a college-bully Reverse Harem. This book may have some darker themes. Please be advised that sexual assault is a big topic in this story. Graphic sex. Swearing. Age gap. Alcohol abuse.

Excellent Story, Series Conclusion & Narration🎧

Alisha Williams does not disappoint one bit and pens a worthy ending, one these characters deserved after all the Alisha Williams does not disappoint one bit and pens a worthy ending, one these characters deserved after all the hardships and drama they have been through over the course of the series, not before having to get through more challenges and obstacles that want to prevent them from having their happily ever after. This book picks up where the second book ended and in this book we watch Ellie, Theo, Brody, Jax, Chase and Rain’s relationship and love deepen further, and despite the rocky start, they became each other’s rocks. It was great to revisit these characters and to see where Williams took them and their relationship. There is never a dull moment in the book and the story has plenty of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and lots of steamy romance. From the start of the series, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. I loved the epilogues and hope this is not the last we see of these characters, even if only seeing them in a spinoff with their kids, starting with Lilly and Toby’s story, would be great. Alisha Williams, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Angelina Rocca and Oliver Highpoint knocked this series out of the park with an amazing performance and character voices that were fitting and consistent throughout. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I pictured them to sound. These two made a great team, with voices and talent that complement each other and a performance that elevates the story to another level. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Secrets Embraced

Secrets Embraced is the third and final book in the Silver Valley University series. These books should be read in order. This book is the continuation of Ellie, Theo, Brody, Jax, Chase, and Rayne's story.

All of these characters have so much to go through. Can they all be there for each other, and continue their relationships? Will they all get their happy ending together or will some of them decide it's not for them?

There were some emotional moments, and lots of things for the characters to get through.

I enjoyed this series, and would read more from this author.

College Bully RH Romance

Secrets Embraced by Alisha Williams is a college bully reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Alexa Borys and Oliver Highpoint. This is the third and final book in the Silver Valley University series.

This is the first series of Alisha’s that I have read, and it won’t be my last. I was hooked from the first book and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. Alisha did a great job wrapping up the series. I really enjoyed getting Ellie, Brody, Chase, Jax, Theo, and Rain’s points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can’t wait to read the first book in the spinoff series A Game Of Choice so I can get Lily, Toby, and Bishop’s story.

Alexa and Oliver did a great job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you like college romances, bully romances, or why choose romances.

Conclusion

I can honestly say I don't know how she did it, but Alisha Williams brought these characters together for a beautiful HEA. This was the first series I've read/listened to written by her. It was complicated, steamy, had me smiling, frustrated, in tears, and laughing throughout the audiobook. I was glad to be traveling so I could listen without interruptions!

Alexa Borys and Oliver Highpoint are excellent narrators. They brought the characters to life and had the audiobook rolling like a movie in my head.

Family of Friends in a Polyamorous Relationship

A family of friends (college age) supporting and loving each other through the numerous struggles. Their family is primarily built around Ellie. Each individual has their own story and voice and pod struggles. Love is expressed both in words, actions and physically.
Children are a part of their journey together and are parented by the entire family.
Compassionate characters and the struggles keep the reader/listener and looking forward to a happy ending for all.
The narration was very well done.

Deliciously addictive...

In true Silver Valley fashion, this installment brings the drama, the heat, the adversity and ALL the feels. This was another fun installment and with a literal Karen who I loved to hate to boot!

Plenty of tropes, etc. to enjoy (or not, as the case may be) and I’m sure I missed a ton because Williams manages to pack in lots.

🗝️ Small town.
🖤 College setting.
🗝️ Single mom.
🖤 No choosing / p0lyamory.
🗝️ Group scenes.
🖤 Sp!tting.
🗝️ OW drama.
🖤 D0m / subm!ssIve dynamics, sometimes.
🗝️ Billionaire in the harem.
🖤 Unplanned pregnancy.
🗝️ Cheer.
🖤 DDLG
🗝️ Holidays.
🖤 Family dinners with unwanted guests and LOTS of juicy drama.
🗝️ Lots of d!rty talk.
🖤 SA / date räp3.

I love the double epilogues and the glimpse into the future—hoping to read more in this world with the next generation.

Told in alternating, first-person POVs. A few instances of poor grammar noted—could’ve used a stronger editor or another pass by a proofreader.

There were a lot of steamy scenes—I do recommend reading this series in order because you get to know the characters and their respective histories better in the first couple installments.

And have I mentioned the drama is JUICY? So much fun. I see re-binges of this series in my future.

Overall:
Excellent. Addictive. And as I write this, I’m still hung over. 4.5 star.

Really good ending!

Secrets Embraced (Silver Valley University#3) is a reverse harem, bully romance. Please heed trigger warnings!

This final book picks up where book 2 ended. Just when they thought they could finally get their happily ever after, the drama reappears in old and new faces. The constant twists, and steamy moments made for an intriguing story between Ellie and her lovers. I loved the little ones interacting, and I’m curious to know what could happen with them!

Alexa Borys and Oliver Highpoint did a nice job completing this series. Great narration that brought these characters to life.

Missed OG female narrator but great ending!

I am so glad I did a re-listen before I started book 3 of this series because it put me right back in the right mindset. I remember how angry I was with the group and how they treated Ellie and how much I loved Theo haha. I was happy to see the big growth in book 3 and see resolutions that we were all craving for with some characters.

I felt so bad for Brody through all of this with this family dynamic and what happened to one of them and how he took it. I just lost my dad a couple months ago and I could relate to the numbness so much it was hard to get through that part of the story. I think the author handled it really well and how he had to come out of it and how he needed a kick to the booty to be there for Ellie and not hurt her or anyone else in the future. I felt also for Jax in this one being so far from his loved ones. I would have loved to know what he ended up doing with his life. Maybe he find out in the spinoff/second generation that I will be picking up once it comes out on audio as well! Raine was a big improvement for me in this one. Seeing her be all momma bear with Ellie and the future family members, seeing how she added to the dynamic was fabulous. Chase had some adorable moments, his antics are always my favorite and needed the levity with some tough topics in this one. I felt for him at the end but liked how the author wrapped it up and didn't blow off the mental health aspect of the event. Theo and his Daddy kink was AMAZING and I wanted more from them hahaha. Their steamy scenes were fantastic but more importantly this nurturing and caring nature are so swoon worthy and how he would take care of her and she didn't even know she needed things. I was happy he finally stood up for her, I was getting annoyed with him and the Karen in the story haha.

I loved the kids in this one, they were so adorable with Ellie's precious one, I could imagine Lily bouncing up and down and so excited and seeing Toby be such a good kid with Lily and Bennett. I was happy about the epilogue and knew Bishop would cause some issues haha. Loved how the author tied in hockey at the end and made that the spinoff duet for those 3. Gonna be a great story and can't wait to jump in. I also thought the author did a good job with the side characters and the villains. I was happy to see a lot of them got their karmic justice after terrorizing and hurting our favorite characters.

I think the narration was good, not my favorite, but was not bad in any way. I think some of the female parts weren't as strong, with the dual narration part. I also missed a couple times when the POV changed from one female to another because they sounded very similar haha. I think the male narrator did a good job and I have no issues with him. I think the author or audio company going with a different female narrator on this one was a tough call. I liked the original one better to be honest so I would give this audio less stars than the first one but it still wouldn't deter me from downgrading this from a 5 to a 4 stars overall. She was good, but I preferred the narrator in books 1 and 2 more (because she did a better job with the other voices/performances).
