Publisher's summary

Join a brooding antihero, a master criminal, a cheeky raven, and a heroine with a big heart (and an even bigger book collection) in this hot, new steamy reverse harem paranormal mystery series.

When the local Banned Book Club loses their meeting room, Mina volunteers to host the group at Nevermore Bookshop (against Heathcliff's muttered protests, of course). Little does she know this old biddies book club is about to turn murderous.

First, someone poisons Mrs. Scarlett, then members of the book club start dropping like flies. Who in the village will turn to murder just to stop people reading a few dusty old books?

Mina's got to figure it out quick, or her beloved teacher Mrs. Ellis is next to die. Luckily, she's got Moriarty, Heathcliff, and Quoth to help. That is, if she can figure out her feelings for her three fictional men before the magical bookshop is torn apart by sexual tension.

They want her.

She can't choose. But maybe...she doesn't have to.

Contains mature themes.

A Fun mystery series~

The Nevermore Bookshop series is a must read.

If you read book one you know why Nina came home and is working at Nevermore bookshop.
It seems she just can't seem to stay out of trouble but with three sexy men who are characters from different books come to life by her side, I guess she doesn't have much to complain about.

I love all the main characters. Mina, Heathcliff, Moriarty and Quoth. Each has something unique to offer to the stories.
With that said, these books are mysteries with a nice sexy side story between the characters AND this time it's heating up a bit.
Moriarity with his filthy mouth, Heathcliff with his moodiness, and Quoth with a dark yet sadness about him have made this an addictive series for me.
Steffanie Holmes has won me over with some many aspects of this series.
As long as she finds things to entertain me in this bookshop, I'll be coming back for more.

Really good

I liked this one better then the first it moved much smoother and even the sexy parts fit in without feeling clunky. I love the Quoth and Mina interactions. Mina's mother drives me slightly insane though and aggravates me. Poor Mina.

Spunky Mina - Love it!

The narration was not only consistent but really seemed to be a good embodiment of my imagination’s own perception of the characters.
I LOVE how Mina is growing as a character - finding her way through not only her diagnosis, but some of life’s spicier adventures. I think that’s exciting for anybody (fictional or not). Well done to Quoth for very much coming out of his shell (cue the dreamy sighs…). My FAVE has to be Mrs. Ellis though - I want to be like her when I grow up!

Meh

So I've discovered that I really don't like the "idiot cop" trope. The police have their initial suspect and refuse to consider or look at any other evidence so the main character has to do really basic investigating and everyone thinks she's a genius. Except for the cops who want her to mind her own business. The narrator is okay but she has some weird inflections and puts emphasis in odd places.
For those of you looking for the spice level, I'd put it at 1 or 2 out of 5. There were maybe 3 sex scenes of varrying detail.
