About this listen
Hank Quinn hasn't been a professor for very long. At only 26, he is one of the youngest members to be a chemistry professor. However, he is bright and well-loved and his students usually do well in his classes. Things change a great deal for Hank when he meets Elizabeth Wilkes. Lizzie is bright but she refuses to try in his classes. She is headed for failure unless he does something. That is when he offers to tutor her one-on-one in hopes that her grades come up.
The tutoring sessions start normally but they soon become something much deeper. Hank begins to feel something for Lizzie that he never felt before. Soon, he realizes that he is falling in love with her and she begins to fall for him. However, can they keep their relationship a secret before anyone finds out? If things aren't tense, Lizzie has also been keeping something from Hank. It's a secret that is going to change them forever.

Quirky Romance?
The entire time I was listening to this story I wasn't quite sure what to think. It wasn't a completely horrible story, but it wasn't anything I'm really a fan of. Even after rereading the blurb and being open minded about the story I'm still not completely sure it makes sense to me. While the book wasn't for me I'm not going to say anything bad about it because just because it isn't for me doesn't mean that you won't love it.

Just.. ok..
Any additional comments?
I did not like this book as much as the author's other books.
The constant mention of text books and school was a bit boring.
Johnathon Horner did well with the narration.

Didn't do it for me
I didn't quite find this book very believable.. even though something like this happens, I found it abusive in the teachers actions.
The narration, especially the girls voice, was poorly done..

Have you listened to any of Johnathon Horner’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This was my first listening experience with Johnathon and I think he did an awesome job.
