"I need to be reborn," the voice said to him. Trevor furrowed his brow. His mind was foggy. Who was this voice, and why did he hear it? "Will you help me?"
"What do I need to do?" Trevor questioned. There was a faint light coming from the mummy's eyes. Trevor stared at the soft white glow and leaned closer. It didn't even register to him that the body had begun to move slowly.
"I need a vessel to carry my spirit. Will you donate your body to me to use?" The voice asked calmly. The edges of the bandages had started a slow trail up to Trevor. The human's eyes had glazed over in an odd trance.
"Anything for my king," he said.
