I can still remember the moment I first heard Cyrus Holt's deep, commanding voice. I didn't know who he was or about the life he'd left behind. Wow! What a ride to end the series!
LOVED THIS LAST BOOK SO MUCH! While you can read these series as standalones, it's so nice to read back to back as the characters do crossover in a manner. The last installment was awesome and really brought it all to a wonderful end! Hot, steamy and all kinds of twists and turns! LOVED Jack Calihan, incredible as he always is! ❤

Great ending to series!
Since I've only read/listened to the book before this one, I feel like I may have understood some details a bit more if I had begun at book one. But that didn't hinder this being an excellent standalone. I really enjoyed the twists in the storyline. I was constantly on edge anticipating what would happen next. I didn't want to pause play.
Jack Calihan is an excellent narrator. The book was running like a movie in my head. Great performance.

Intense rollercoaster of emotions!
This story started off a little slow but my goodness did it take off like a rocketship dealing with Sierra and how she inserted herself in the brutal mafia world. The world of Lorenzo, mafia dom. I think Lorenzo is a demanding a**hole Dom with a really good side full of torment. His torment and navigation through Sierra's dilemma made this story juicy, intense, with angst and a thrilling ride. Leave it to the master narrator of bad a** demanding Mafia Doms, Jack Calihan. Jack's narration is perfection. All characters were distinguishable due to his genius as well as his accents. I loved the story especially the HEA. Piper Stone made me Lover/hate Lorenzo.

Great book
This is not your usual romance read in fact its gritty and dark.
You can just about see the steam coming off the pages .
Fantastic plot and the characters definitely have steam.
The Narrator Jack Calihan did a good job of bringing the characters alive.

Decantly delicious Mafia romance!!
When tasting the flavor of Piper Stone's journey with Lorenzo and Sierra, the only thing that could make it more wonderful is the dulcet tones of Jack Calihan bringing it to life. The ability to see the action in the mind's eye made it like watching an incredible movie that you'll want to see again and again.

Excellent dark Mafia Romance
Piper Stone has written another dark Mafia Romance that is filled with intrigue, mafia warfare, betrayal, true friends, danger, and sizzling sex scenes that eventually turn into love. I like how Piper brings Lorenzo and Sierra together. Through their character development, we see them realising their true feelings for each other and facing many dangers. Sierra must decide if she will accept this new lifestyle that includes many deadly dangers. Piper brings us the brutal aspect of the Mafia as well as the families that pledge to live peacefully together. Jack Calihan gives us an excellent mental picture of this story so we can just enjoy it. He captures the emotions and personalities of the characters thereby bringing them to life. He gives Lorenzo a deep dominant voice that is also sexy. I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. I highly recommend this book it you like dark romances.

Enjoyable entry into mafia genre
Enjoyed the story, found it to be one of the better stories in the mafia genre. it was easy to follow the motivation of the characters once I got all the pertained straight. The narrator did a great job as usual.

Being an investigate reporter for the newspaper, Sierra Fox was meeting Lucas, an informant, for a lead in a crime story. But everything went wrong when she followed him into that dark alley. Axel came out of the shadows and murdered him. Next he turned to her. All she knew what to do was run. Run to the last person in the world she should go to, Lorenzo Francesco. She knew he would protect her. She also remembered the hot, sexy, erotic, nights they spent together 4 years ago in Cancun.
Now she is being sought by Axel and others. There's a war secretly looming, from an unknown group.
Now it's time for Lorenzo to test his alliance with the Sons of Darkness, for assistance to the chaos beginning to brew in Chicago.
Piper Stone has written a riveting, intense, mafia romance that's full of danger, Lies , secrets, games, murders, revenge, and territory war. Yes also steamy, erotic, sex.
Whenever Jack Calihan narrates a story, he lives it. His voices, deep sexy voice, is perfection , the accents from the different mafia factions to the sensual, passionate lovemaking between Sierra and Lorenzo. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Great Story!
Another great by Piper Stone! This is the fifth book in the Mafia Masters series (can be read as a standalone). Love Lorenzo and Sierra's story! Once again Piper Stone did not disappoint! Narrator Jack Calihan is awesome! He does a great job with this series!
