Great author, mediocre narrator

Where does Love & Misadventure rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I'd say it's definitely one of the best for the content.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Love & Misadventure?

Too many to single out one moment

What three words best describe Elizabeth Cottle’s voice?

Mediocre but promising

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me feel that I was peering into the author's soul

Any additional comments?

Great book, very creative, very well constructed prose, but it deserved a much better narrator. The narrator's voice is clear but she lacks rhythm and doesn't place emphasis on the right words. As such, she comes off as robotic most of the time and the author deserved more than that.
