About this listen

She's the wife he never wanted...and the weakness he never saw coming.

Ruthless. Meticulous. Arrogant.

Dante Russo thrives on control, both personally and professionally.

The billionaire CEO never planned to marry—until the threat of blackmail forces him into an engagement with a woman he barely knows.

Vivian Lau, jewelry heiress and daughter of his newest enemy.

It doesn’t matter how beautiful or charming she is. He'll do everything in his power to destroy the evidence and their betrothal.

There’s only one problem: Now that he has her...he can't bring himself to let her go.

***

Elegant. Ambitious. Well-mannered.

Vivian Lau is the perfect daughter and her family’s ticket into the highest echelons of high society.

Marrying a blue-blooded Russo means opening doors that would otherwise remain closed to her new-money family.

While the rude, elusive Dante isn't her idea of a dream partner, she agrees to their arranged marriage out of duty.

Craving his touch was never part of the plan.

Neither was the worst thing she could possibly do: fall in love with her future husband.

King of Wrath is a steamy arranged-marriage billionaire romance. It includes explicit content and profanity. Recommended for mature listeners only.

So good! 🩷

I really enjoyed this story so glad I purchased it and now I have another new author to endulge in! It was nice listening to Jacob Morgan perform accents then I'm use to hearing him do and it was my first time listening to the female narrator and she did an amazing job as well. The narrators make the stories amazing (or they ruin it) Both were wonderful

IN LOVE

This gave me everything that I could have wanted from the audiobook! The performance was so well done and I really felt like they did such a great job portraying the characters. Dante and Vivian just have my heart. The angst, the tension and the way they fall for one another is just SO GOOD. Literally love!

Jacob Morgan 🔥

Do yourself a favour and get the audiobook and I guaranteed that you will enjoy the book so much better, or better yet, listen while you reading it. The audio has male and female narator, and Dante's narator voice is so sexy with a hint of Italian accent, just as I imagine Dante will sound like, and I love it.

Everytime Dante said " Mia Cara...."

Dante Russo, an Italian Billionaire, was blackmailed by Vivian Lau's father into marrying his daughter. Vivian family is a self made jewelry entrepreneur, and her parents are eager to boost their status in society by marrying into an old money family like The Russos. Dante has no choice but to comply, but he did have a plan to prolong the engagement so he can find a way to get out of the blackmail.

It's a little bit of a slow-burn, there's a lot of mini time jump across the book, so it makes their hate to love relationships a bit more believable. The whole book spans for about a year, from their first meeting until their wedding day. If I can pick on anything, I would like Dante to grovel a bit more. Vivian forgive him way too fast for what he did ( I don't blame her, he's literally on his knees)🥵, but I guess I need to wait for King of Greed for my dose of top tier grovelling.

Hot enemies to lovers!

When a billionaire is forced into an arranged marriage, and sparks fly. This one is a slow burn romance but once it’s going it’s spicy!
There were some great scenes that I just enjoyed and laughed at some of the banter between Vivian and Dante. I love how both characters are redeemable and how the story ended. I don’t want to spill all the beans but I enjoyed the romantic suspense between the two and the family drama as well.
The narrators, Jacob Morgan and Emily Woo Zeller were great! I felt like they both portrayed Vivian and Dante very well and used a variety of tones and inflections. I was able to easily distinguish between multiple characters as well. The narrators kept me engaged till the very end.
Perfect for lovers of romantic suspense, billionaire romance, enemies to lovers, and family drama.

Ana Huang’s men are the blueprints

I waited so long for this audiobook to come out. It’s always amazing to hear the narration since you can imagine the main characters’s voices and feelings. Kudos to the voice actors for their amazing work.

Another amazing work from Ana Huang. This is not a biased review when I said Ana Huang really put her heart and soul in creating this story. Ana Huang’s men are the blueprint of book boyfriends and it just keeps getting better and better.

One thing that appeals to me the most is the female lead, Vivian, and her struggles to be her own self and also to respect her family values. That is common in an Asian household. Sometimes you turn back on love for the sake of your family. She is not some damsel in distress yet she is like any other girls. She can be vulnerable yet strong at the same time. That is one of the qualities I admire about her.

While Dante, he wanted to do anything to save his brother and even though his brother is a pain in the ass. I mean, any younger siblings are like that. He still has his back. This really highlights the values of family.

I love the playful banter between Dante & Vivian. Oh to be rich and swipe a black amex card whenever your fiancé pissed you off is a dream. Jk. But I love the development of both of the characters.

For the spice, well there are some spices and a lot of jealousy coming from Dante, hence the title. What makes Dante different from Twisted Men is that, he won’t do rash and petty decisions like Christian, and I don’t think he unalive anyone like Alex, Rhys or Christian 😂 he has class.

The bad side of this story is that it makes me feel how lonely I am of being single but hey, that’s what fictional men are for.

First time for audiobook

I absolutely loved this book! The billionaire trope, as well as enemies to lovers are among my favorites.

It was also my first experience for audiobook and the acting was great! I believed in the characters and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Simply perfection

I am not the type of person to leave a review, but this book was so good that I had to make an exception.

Story: I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, but I thoroughly enjoyed the story! Well-rounded characters. Great plot. Enough detail without getting bogged down. Expectations met with surprises sprinkled in.

Performance: Female narration took me a couple chapters to get used to, but it ended up being perfect for the character! I loved the inflections they both used. Not robotic at all. They weren’t just reading off a page, but they were truly acting.

I was very impressed with this book! I cannot wait for the next 6!!
