A Captivating and Well Narrated Memoire
This is a standout audiobook. The author's life story is fascinating of itself, but hearing it in the writer's own voice added that special something for me.
Annie's narration style really draws you in. It feels very like sitting across from her over a cup of coffee and listening. It’s just that natural; it’s just that personal. That’s a big part of what makes it great. You get the sense that you are being offered a window into another life, a very different one yes, but told to you in such a way that you can readily relate to it.
I heartily recommend this to any listener, but for those seeking to understand other life choices, this is a gem of a listen.

what an adventure of a book!
Wow. Just wow. I was hooked from the start. Her book is so candid and thought-provoking. We get to explore her experiences as a sex worker and the profound impact it had on her life. She brilliantly digs into the complexities of identity, power dynamics, and societal perceptions surrounding sex work, motherhood, illness and loss. This is such a raw account of her journey. She challenged stereotypes and shed light on the often misunderstood realities of the profession. So beautifly reflective and empowering. I gained such an understanding of the intersection of personal choice, societal judgment, and resilience. I loved this book.
