Gretchen Williams had finally been offered her dream job. The subject matter appealed to him for a variety of reasons, ones he kept to himself. Until Gretchen throws a temper tantrum like a true diva. He takes her in hand, right in her own trailer, proving that he's been doing very little acting so far.
They embark into a secret D/s relationship.
When photos of them together at a local BDSM dungeon surface and leak to the media, they find themselves with tough choices to make. Will their relationship overcome the scandal or is Gretchen doomed to say goodbye to Tristan in true Hollywood fashion?

BDSM and Spanking..
Any additional comments?
Gretchen, the female lead, is an erotic book author.
Her book has just been picked up to be turned into a television series.
She has been invited to the set and unbeknownst to her,
she has been selected as the "butt double" for the main actress.
Tristan, the male lead, and actor on the set, is attracted to Gretchen immediately and thinks that she will fit in well with his "lifestyle".
Overall, the book was entertaining and not as "extreme" as I thought when I started
the book.
Augustine Poe did well with the narration, his voice was a good pitch for the female leads, not too high.

Cool Sexy Short
I really liked this short, steamy romance. The premise of a writer ending up as a body double on the set of the show based on her book was cool. At first, it seemed like this would be a superficial relationship, but it developed and grew into more.
The narrator did a really good job overall. His male and female voices are good and believable. His inflection was really good most of the time. It did seem like he would pause here and there, probably because he was turning a page or just having a bit of a struggle with a sentence. Not a huge deal, but I did notice it. His pronunciation, enunciation and feel for the material was good.

Fun Listen
Gretchen is an erotic spanking romance writer (who knew that was a thing?) that was asked to oversee the production of her books being made into film. The leading actor, Tristan, is hot and as it turns out... Not so much acting.
Tristan turns out to be exactly what Gretchen needs since she can't seem to get her life together and they embark on a d/s relationship.
I enjoyed this listen. I thought it was fun and not super angsty. The narration was great and it was the perfect length. Definitely credit worthy.

Fantastic story and naration- get this audio today!
I absolutely loved this book when I first read it and the naration made it even more fun to experience Gretchen and Tristen's story. The storyline was fun and the dialogue smart with an Alpha male who was both strong and sensitive who really knew how to care for his leading lady who was equal parts insecure and sassy and oftentimes naughty.

Maybe It's Me!
Would you try another book from Adaline Raine and/or Augustine Poe?
Yes I would, I may not have found this one to my liking but it certainly wouldn't stop me from listening/reading another one of their books
Would you recommend Her Leading Man to your friends? Why or why not?
Not sure that I would as I found the audio didn't flow for me, the editing was obvious and it altered the flow of the story. The writing could also be improved in my opinion, as I didn't find it flued when reading/listening.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
This is difficult for me to comment on due to the fact the the audio has a few too many editing interruptions, and it was very obvious when corrections had been made. This really shouldn't take away from Augustine Poe's performance as I don't think he has much control over editing. All in all I enjoyed his performance.
Could you see Her Leading Man being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
I really can't see that, mainly due to my audio experience. But hey, others that read/listen to this may very well invision the whole movie/TV thing.

A D&S story
This story had potential if the main heroine wasn't so whiny. As a dominant and sub story it lack something. Nonetheless it was a good listen. I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.

💥Sizzled Through My Blood💥

wow the chemistry between these two charters was off the chart set my Kindle of Fire had my blood humming pulsing through my veins my loin set Ablaze this was definitely one hot sizzling over the top sexy oh so deliciously tantalizing dirty little gem that I thoroughly enjoyed!
