I can be a prick. I know this, and I’ve been working on it since high school. No, really I have. I am not much for short reads. I like to spend time with the characters and their relationship. I like a good build up and then I like to be in the ups and down struggles and wins and have a satisfying HEA that lets me believe they have a good future ahead. This was brief. Intro to Dustin and Trevor then Willa and Dustin then the story took off. Meet - Work - Flirt - Date ... There was no time spent on them starting having or being in a relationship. It was one car ride, quick drink and a convo I've already forgotten followed by a quick sexy time full stop end of book. It feels unfinished and unpolished I wasn't aware it was part of a series and I wont be seeking more from the series.

The main character, Dustin was not likeable to me. The narration of Trever and Willa were so over the top stereotypical it was a turn off. Then when Dustin began to sing in Spanish and translated into English, I had to turn it off. Nary a book I leave unfinished. But I don't know if it is all their fault. The story felt forced from the start. I hate to leave a negative review but felt a warning was in order.
