Kings of Temptation are just that! The men in this series are each completely different but oh so tempting. This features Nico. He and his brother Marco are running their company and trying to take out their half brothers, Dante and Luca. Nico's eye has been caught by Maisy. Just escaping an abusive marriage, she is trying to get her life together. This does not stop Nico from stalking her, causing him more distraction than is affordable. Will these two find they are perfectly suited or will Maisy go back to her husband Jasper? This book is packed with action and passion. Nico and Maisy are explosive together! And the story line expertly woven in includes action and gritty darkness. I love the characters, Nico is tough as nails and a teddy bear on the inside. Maisy is quirky, strong and shows her wild side. Getting to know all the brothers and what they find out is just icing on the cake for me. Betrayal, love, obsession, family, it's all there and it's a fabulous listen.

Tor Thom and Fiona Clare bring this gem to life with fabulous voices. Thom pulls out a voice for Nico, giving him a powerful, yet vulnerable when needed sound. Clare is Maisy, keeping her strong and focused on what is important. These two work so well together and bring a chemistry to these characters that is powerful. Loved it!

This story will keep you on the edge of your seat whilst reading or listening. The narration by Thor Thom and Fiona Claire was spot on. Their voices are easy to listen to and diverse and they did justice to the story that relatively new to me author Sienna Cross wove. Told in duet narration this added to my enjoyment as I listened. Both Thor and Fiona brought all the passion and danger to their performances and held me captive.
 
There was a lot going on in Brutal King. I am not a huge reader of Mafia romance, it is not a genre that I read very often, however this was a good listen. This is a story of danger, suspense and love and ticked it numerous boxes for me.
 
Full of twists and turns and some surprises I did not see coming this book will keep you invested from the first to the last word.

4/5 for story. 3/5 for spice. Not a bad listen but IDK that I'll remember this over any other Mafia Stalker Romance story... Not terrible tho.

It's sad that you made the woman sound so immature for her age. I wish I won the waste Money on it. It would have been good if you would have had her more mature.

I'm sorry. I couldn't continue past the first few chapters. I understood that there are ladies like this but she is too juvenile and her voice grated on my nerves.

So the MMC is a twin and towards the end of the book it is said that the twins would switch it up on their girlfriends without telling the girls. Yeah, uhhh, that’s not cute and funny pranking, that’s literally rape. So be warned, not only is that behavior treated lightly but this conversation happens after the twin tries to trick the FMC into being with him under false pretenses until the MMC catches him and stops it. I was already feeling iffy on this book because the FMC just feels like a no backbone empty headed woman who is constantly falling/hurting herself, the falling so he can catch her trope happens so many times, I was literally rolling my eyes because it stopped being tropey and cute after the 3rd time.

Horrible, juvenile. The writing itself was ok, but the story itself was awful. Male narrator was phenomenal. Female narrator sounded too young and immature.

The other books in the series were much better. This book needed more storey. The portion of the story when he was touching her while she was sleeping / on pain meds, was just weird. Expected better.
