About this listen

Falling for my Bestie’s Billionaire Dad wasn’t part of my internship. When my best friend scores me a gig at her dad’s company, I’m all in.

A virgin girl diving headfirst into opportunity.

But he? A handsome, grumpy, billionaire with Kardashian-level baggage.

Sparks fly, chemistry sizzles, and suddenly, my innocence is up for grabs.

Forbidden twists and risky turns leave us breathless.

He even calls me 'Tiger' like rawr!

But there's a catch: He’s off-limits!

As our secret affair blossoms into love, his powerful ex-wife crashes the party.

She accused me of wrecking lives and threatened to turn my life upside down if I didn't disappear.

I flee, leaving behind a heartbroken billionaire.

Will he ever uncover my reasons?

And my bestie?

It turns out she’s in for a shock bigger than a Real Housewives reunion: a new sibling.

Quick Spicy Listen

Boss’s Secret Off Limits Baby by Tyra Sinclair is a super spicy, fun listen that hits all the right notes for fans of forbidden romance and age-gap drama. Elara’s internship with her best friend’s billionaire dad, Simon, turns into a steamy affair filled with tension, drama, and twists. The characters are well-written, and the chemistry between Elara and Simon is off the charts.

Lorin Zackular’s narration really brings the story to life.

If you’re into age-gap romances with a lot of spice and drama, this audiobook is a great pick.

Boss’s Secret Off Limits Baby!

This is a fairly short and quick read/listen. The story is a best friend's dad and surprise story about Elara and Simon. Sparks fly between these two with sizzling hot chemistry. Simon leads the charge to seduce Elara. What he wants he gets! I have mixed feelings about this story. It was hard to listen to, after first, because Simon was not likable. He does redeem himself by the end. Elara was a touch wishy washy too. By the end of the story I enjoyed it. There are numerous discrepancies which make the story hard to follow in the beginning. The narration is nicely done.

Age Gap Forbidden Romance

This was my first Tyra Sinclair's book. Elara and Simon's short spicy forbidden age gap best friend’s Billionaire Dad romance is fun, sweet, and fast-paced, filled with drama, and secrets. They are opposites attract. Lorin Zackular did a good job bringing this story to life. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The Interview

I liked this story of an age gap relationship between Elara and Simon. Elara is best friends with Simon's daughter. His daughter talked him into interviewing Elara for an internship at his company. It may have started out as a job interview, but sparks fly and clothes fly in a new relationship.

secret

Loved the narration of Lorin Zackular

Elara is has a internship with her best friend's father Simon. This is one hot age gap billionaire romance. Throw in in an nasty ex wife, a forbidden romance. Lots of misunderstandings and drama this is one great book.

Too Many Inconsistencies

This book is just odd. First, the author uses several words and phrases that are completely wrong. For instance, in the first couple of chapters, she uses the term “panty” when clearly the word “panties” is called for. The noun version is not used in the singular, so every time it was said, it irritated my last nerve.

But that was the least of the problems with this story. The book had many inconsistencies. Here are some examples. The hero is divorced, but during a pivotal scene, his ex-wife calls him a married man; he isn't. At one point in the middle of the story, the heroine says that her mother has a drug addiction but has been clean for a year. Yet, when she goes back to her hometown, her mother is clearly in the throes of a powerful addiction. Another odd thing is that the heroine tells the hero at two different times she's a virgin, and it comes as a surprise both times! At a certain point, we're told that the heroine has purchased a condo in her hometown, yet it is referred to several times as an apartment. At least on the west coast of the US, apartments and condos are quite different things! In the epilogue, the young child calls his half-sister his aunt. It's almost as if this writer (or her ghostwriter) got two stories conflated and couldn't keep them straight.

And don't get me started on the pregnancy inconsistencies and oddities! She's only just figured out that she's pregnant, but she has already gained 11 pounds? A few months later, at about three and a half months, she's now gained 25 pounds and is already showing and waddling(!), but then, just a little while later, she supposedly touches her flat stomach.

Sometimes, when a story lacks, a good narrator can help make up the difference, but that wasn't so in this case. Just one female narrator is used, and she has a very girlish voice. This works quite well for the young women, and she does a decent job distinguishing the two main females in the story. But she could not pull off the hero's voice at all. While she attempted to make him sound a bit grumbly and gruff, she just sounded far too young and far too female. I have heard female narrators do a decent job with male character voicings; this one just was not up to scratch.

Aside from these consistency and usage issues, this book also had character issues, particularly with the heroine. Admittedly, she's young, but she has these flip-out moments that don't make logical sense for her character or is a way a thinking woman would act. For instance, when she discovers she's pregnant, she immediately thinks that she must break up with the father to save her friendship with his daughter. Seriously, at that moment, that's what's most important? There's a huge scene between the heroine and the hero's ex-wife. I don't understand where the heroine was coming from, thinking she had to just obey this woman, both before and after her threats. And seriously, what sorts of lawsuits could this woman actually instigate against the heroine? It just didn't make sense. Oh, and for those who care, this is a steamy romance that I would rate as explicit. While in general, I prefer more steamy-sweet intimate scenes, the spice level was the least of my concerns. Not recommended.
