Acerca de esta escucha

My ex tried to take everything from me.

My last chance at happiness.

One of the men I've given my heart to.

While before, he was content to terrorize me to get what he wanted, now his ambitions have widened. He's got the whole town in his sights, and he doesn't care who he has to hurt to get what he wants.

But that's OK.

I've let him ride roughshod over me for way too long, and now? Me and my mates are going to push back, and he doesn't know what's coming for him.

No cliffhangers. This is the end of Natalie's story

I enjoyed the last book of this story. I just feel like I wanted a bit more for the wrap up. There was a twinge of anticlimactic justice when it came to Paul. But still overall a great read. I still love all the bears!

The performance of the narrators were great, just like the first audiobook. I found the guy was a bit annoying this time around with the steamy scenes. But loved his MMCs bear voices. And the female narrator was fantastic! I want to listen to more of her work for sure!

This was a good conclusion this story. Just wanted a bit more. Still would recommend a listen especially if you listened to the first one.

I wanted a bit more…

I loved watching everything come together from the first book. Watching Natalie get everything she deserves and Paul getting what’s coming to him was awesome. The guys continue to prove why they are perfect for Natalie. I loved this world.

A great finish to the story

Book one was PG, this book was filled (lol) filled with Love! Clock tower finished, Bonds completed, Karma collected, bun made, happily ever after!

Bears of plenty!

I immediately got this next installment of the Ursa Shifters series. This book is the finale to the Natalie and her bear sleuth's story. This book has A LOT more sexy time as she has accepted the bond. The as*hat ex-hubby Paul is still creating trouble for everyone. Of course, Karmic justice is given by the end. The only thing that really bugged me about the story is Paul's attitude towards Natalie's mates. He discovers they are bear shifters. Personally, if my ex discovered I was dating not one, but four very large mountain sized men, much less ones that turn into bears- he would not be picking fights or doing threats with guns. HE would likely sh*t a brick and run the other way. That's a stretch in my mind. I just shifted my perspective that this is an alternate world where maybe shifters are not a total rarity. I also agree with the other reviewers that I feel the female narrator should have done the sexy time narration for Natalie. The Aussie accent is amazing, but the male narrator trying to falsetto female in the throes of passion was a bit annoying. Overall, the story was worth the credit spent

Karmic ending to story one.

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💚💜💙❤️
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏
Character development: 😒🥺🙂🥰
Narrator(s): 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Natalie - she left her cheating and emotionally abusive husband after he told her he wanted an open marriage. She was happy with her choice, though it was taking time to get over, especially after looking back and seeing how controlling and cruel her husband had been. She is trying to get her life on track and dating the four hot construction workers that she is working with on the restoration of the clock tower at the old town hall. They were good for her and treating her great, but she lives in a small Australian town and not everyone agrees.

The Heroes: Alaric, Coda, Thorne, Lars - they are bear shifters and had known from the time they came to town that Natalie was the one woman for them. When they found out she was married, they were determined to leave her be if she was happy, but when she left her husband and they saw how he treated her, they stepped up and helped her out. Showing her exactly how a woman should be treated by the man or men who love her.

The Story: After Paul threatened Natalie, stole her money and tried to get her to sign away their house to him, he shot Coda. Natalie wanted nothing more than for her and her men to take him down. They had to be careful though. They tell Natalie about why their ancestors first came to Australia. It was because there were so many big game hunters in America and people that specifically hunt bear shifters. They also told her about how certain family lines are genetically predisposed to be their mates. Natalie happens to be from one of those family lines. That was how they found her and knew she was the one for them.

This book was quite different from the first book, more about Natalie starting her new life with her guys while still dealing with the cruel antics of her ex. The first book was more about her getting away from her ex. Paul was involved with a devious scheme against not just Natalie, but the entire town. This book was also a lot steamier than the first. It had many more intimate scenes between Natalie and each of her guys. I kind of liked the first book more since it had more story, and less steam, though still plenty. This one had a bit too much steam and not as much story. Though I do plan to get the rest of the books in this series, because they are longer books and I tend to like bear shifter stories.

This audiobook was told in multiple points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Sofia Lette and Dorje Swallow. Sofia Lette has a very pretty voice with a great Australian accent. Dorje Swallow also has an Australian accent and was able to do multiple characters very well. He has a deep, gravelly voice and both of these narrators were expressive and natural sounding.

I liked the twins best!

Loved the story but… not the males narrating male parts who had sections where they had to interject with female speech, especially during intimate moments. It was really annoying. I love a good Aussie accent & the narrators did a good job with their gender parts… BUT the males doing those screechy female falsettos, mostly of Natalie expressing her enthusiasm during pleasure, took me right out of the moment and undid all of the immersion into the story. It was like hitting a 5 foot speed bump made of bricks. If you’re going to do “in duet” please use females for all parts. Otherwise just use a female narrator for the whole story. The males narrating were enough to get me hot bothered but their female parts were just nails on a chalkboard awful. So please bring them back for male speaking but NOT for the ladies. Sam Hall’s story was good, narrators good with THEIR parts, BUT… those males shouldn’t narrate females as screeching falsettos. 5 for story, 3 for male narration of female parts, 🌶️🌶️🌶️-🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ for spice. Yes it’s Reverse Harem but not dark & for Why Choose hot but not sizzling. No crossed swords, and scenes kind of vanilla for multiple partner scenarios. Sex is plentiful, some edging, bare mention of anything outside of standard positions

Good story, Narration good overall but… don’t use those male narrators for female falsettos.

The story was good, it’s a part two book. It was a good conclusion to its predecessor. I enjoyed the characters, the story was well rounded and happily ever after. This book is much steamier than the first.

Great performances
