Mrs. Helen Ryan the young beautiful wife of Dr. Herbert Ryan is shopping in her favourite grocery store, when a sordid episode from her past slams into her. April Showers is about wild sex that entails everything from forced sex to exhibitionism to prostitution to multiple partners. There’s no pretence and for lack of a better word, it’s erotica in its rawest form.

Entertaining
It was a fun audio book to listen to with lots of hot action in a compact book. I can't believe I Spent so little on it. Worth every penny!

Something Missing
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
This was erotica in language and such, which is what I wanted and expected. But I've had better. It was just so-so IMO. I'm not sure how to identify what it was missing. But it seemed to be missing something. It just somehow fell short. And the unfolding of the story and ending were implausible.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Make it more plausible at least.
Was April Showers worth the listening time?
Barely.
