A little blood between friends.
Phlebotomist Alexis Cavill has wanted to jump her best friend since he died. Well… Not died died, just became undead. A shift in their relationship was scary, but not as scary as the new local arsonist keeping firefighters, including Sean, working overtime to put out the flames. Meanwhile, the ones between them keep growing.

Love Humor
One thing I loved about Michelle Mars books is the humor. She always has a way to make me laugh in her books. And who doesn't love a Vampire and a fireman? Yes please! I enjoyed this short audio, I'd love to see more into the characters and their story.

Funny and Spicy
Adoring Alexis is set in the Love Wars world created by @michellemarsbooks and was such a fun listen. Narrators @lacy.laurel and Bryant Walker are great in their roles. Bryant has some awesome bloopers in this one too. I recommend listening to the other books in the series but this is also doesn’t ruin any plot points from the other books. It is an interesting world with characters that are funny, snarky and super sexy.

Friendship turns into hot and heavy lovers? Who can say friends turn into lovers arent the best? Well they are. I got the opportubity from the author to review this audiobook. Thank you! Its an ok sotrylije. Short and sweet.

Short but decent
I would not recommend if you have not read other books in the series. I have only read one other book in this series and it did not really go into the vampires in this world. So I feel there were things I may have missed by not having this info. And I’m wondering if these characters were in a previous book that would have helped understand them more. Otherwise, it was a decent story. Again a very short story.

Perfect short listen!
I found this to be a perfect short story. Sean and Alexis were so cute! Best friends who have harbored crushes on each other and decide to act on it after Sean becomes a vampire. Awkwardness, hotness, witty banter…it’s a complete package!

A cute quick listen. Alexis is a phlebotomist and her best friend is a Firefighter who is also a vampire. They both love each other and decide to tell each other. It was an ok story.

Cute and funny
Generally not my kind of story but since I’ve like other Mars books i gave this one a try. It was a cute story with funny banter between friends. I appreciated the light hearted affection between them and spice.

Cute fun novella
I enjoy this authors books, she has a great sense of humour. Narration was good and this was a funny easy listen and entertaining. I would recommend listening to this if you have enjoyed the series, not really a standalone.

Good, Fun Novella!
This story was good with a lot of laughs in it. Sean was living his life as a vampire and wanted to be with his best friend Alexis. She wanted to be with him too, but they just hadn’t figured that out yet. This was a fun story with a bit of heat. The narration was also very good.
