Publisher's summary

What would you do if you had to betray the people who taught you the true meaning of freedom?

When cornered, I turn against the Tailors, the four men who taught me the true meaning of love and who own me in a way that no one else ever has. Though they forgive me, we soon discover a new danger stalking us, one that threatens to tear us apart. As we fight for survival, we must confront the ghosts of our past and the monsters that lurk in the shadows.

Will our bond be strong enough to withstand the ruin that awaits us?

Addicted to the Ruin is the second book in a dark contemporary romance duet, where love is love and our girl (and guys) end up with more than one love interest. Swords will cross. You need to listen to Addicted to the Pain first.

Be warned, love hurts.

This is a multicast duet production.

ADDICTED TO ROSA

I think I’m still so floored by how amazing this book was that I forgot to do all me reviews. So here I am.

The follow up to Addicted to the Pain, this book did not disappoint! I had no idea where it was going but everything was perfect. The narrating again PHENOMENAL. I literally can’t say enough about how much I love this cast!!!

Jude reminds me of a mini me Diesel

4.5 / 5 Stars!
If you're new here to Rosa Lee, she writes dark why choose romances. This duet is extremely dark, so check you triggers! This is not for beginners! Also note this is a duet, and I will say book one is primarily smut... like really good, extremely spicy smut! There's a little bit of the foundation of the plot, but the main plot hits in book two. If you want really good smut, something a little lighter with banter, and equal parts smut and plot I would look into her Highgate Prepatory Academy Series instead. I however, love the smut Rosa Lee delivers, and I am obsessed with these characters. Jude reminds me a little like an adorably unhinged mini mee of Diesel (for my DOV lovers out there). He's one of my favorite characters of all time. He's sweet for a captor lol. Also it's one of my favorite audiobooks of the year. It has some of my favorite narrators in a full cast style narration.

My feels were all kinds of messed up.

Just WOWW. In so many ways! Addicted to the Pain and the Ruin was my first intro to Rosa Lee, and I can say it’s not gonna be my last.

Narration and performance: 🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤 5/5
Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
Pacing: ⏳⏳⏳ 3/5
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 4/5

Audio:
This audio was done DUET style! Not duel. DUET! That made it SOOO much better. It irks me when it’s just a duel narration and they do each others voices in their reads. But not to worry cause this was a duet styled audiobook, so each narrator read their own respective parts accordingly and the dialogue was seamless. Their emotions were spot on and they performed beautifully. The female narrator was a great fit and her voice was easy to listen to. The male narrators each had their own quirks but I felt they portrayed their characters perfectly. All parties had me laughing when things were funny, crying when it got dark, and melting when it got HOTT🔥🔥🔥.

Story:
This book starts off with a flash back but after that it picks up right where Addicted to the Pain left off. And the rollercoaster of emotions were set into high gear as soon as the books starts. I would highly recommend listeners/reader check the TW before picking it up as this book can be very heavy. Honestly the more TW a book has the faster I pick it up, so I didn’t mind it. It did have me balling though. The pain and angst was REALLL. The dynamics between the characters are explored more throughly in this book versus the first one imo. The chemistry between everyone was 🔥🔥🔥 and the smexyness was 🥵🥵🥵. I do feel that the story was a bit slower paced once you get past a certain point as it didn’t really have a strong direction other than exploring their relationship. It wasn’t until toward the end that it sort of picked back up but who am I kidding, the middle section full of 🫦🫦🫦 was throughly enjoyed. 🤣. I did want a little more than what it ended with but it’s okay. It was a good read and a great listen.

This set was my first Rosa Lee books and I can say that I loved it. Loved that they made it a duet instead of duet. They couldn’t have picked a better cast.

All the Spice

I liked the second half of this duet better than the first. So glad the crew from the Highgate Prepatory Academy made an appearance. Can't wait to see where Rosa takes this universe next.

Loved, loved loved this book!!!

I adored this book. I adored every one of these narrators. They brought both of these books to life. These characters are such live wires, and the narrators did a perfect job bringing each of them to life. The spice was spicing ,and was great. I do think the 1st book had more spice in it,but this book was more about the established love amongst our characters.
I will definitely listen to these two books again. You just can not go wtong witj these narrators.

Dark and delicious!

OMG!! This book picks up where Addicted to the Pain left off, with everyone in a very precarious situation. I was not expecting things to flow the way they did, but when I think about it, it all made perfect sense. There's lots of action, suspense, and a lady who doesn't have to choose the guy, because she gets them all.

Rosa Lee is a new to me author, and I don't know how her mind comes up with this stuff, but I'm definitely a fan. The twists and turns, the humor--some of it quite inappropriate--makes for such a wonderful duet. Please check out the trigger warmings. These books are dark, and get into some tough themes.

The narrators were so great. Michelle Sparks, Teddy Hamilton, Troy Duran, Lucas Webley blew me away telling this dark, brutal, seriously hot, and beautiful tale in duet narration. At times it felt like I was watching a movie, a testament to both the writing and talent of the narrators.
