This was amazing! Sooooooo much in here!!!
If you or your spouse have any shape or form of ADHD please please please listen to this one.
I have ADHD, I was diagnosed as a child, I “grew out of it” and was re-diagnosed as an adult. I came close to losing my marriage because of ADHD and my denial that I still had it.
It is nothing to be ashamed of and to be honest I would never change it. The knowledge in this book is broken down in a way to not only explain to your loved one what you are going through, but you will learn a lot too.
I will be not only listening to this again but I will be buying the kindle version and possibly the physical book to add to it collection.

PRACTICAL Magic !!
Priceless info for ANYONE dealing with, suspecting they have, or desiring to overcome ADD challenges. Though I assumed this was for couples, the parenting applications (easier said than done!) near the end were a nice surprise... And spot on!!
THANK YOU Dr Amen.

Great Book
Discovered this book on Audible two days ago. It's amazing. I have learned so much about myself and my behavior in relationships. It''s not boring to listen to either
I'm so happy I found this! So many diverse stories and insight. Especially after chapter 2. Also, you'll learn about relationships with your PARENTS and your CHILDREN.
I'm listening to it with my husband and he is like "Wow, I get it now". He is so relieved now that he better understands the HOW, WHY, and viable SOLUTIONS. Radical change in my own understanding and I feel less guilt about my past and many of the dumb choices I've made.

Factual, but not overwhelming
I loved this book for many reasons. I learned about the multiple and varied “types” of ADD. I did not know different types of ADD effect different sections of the brain. I appreciated how the author shared the point of view from multiple individuals who interact with an ADD individual and his those relationships are effected by ADD.
